My story…
I began painting in my mid-forties and am a self-taught artist— although, I come from a family of artists, most notably my father, Paul Allison (pictured here). I have been enthusiastically creating for as long as I can remember. I began collecting materials for painting and one day, picked up a paintbrush and allowed my creativity to flow. The process of painting and creating, from idea to completion, has been a cathartic and inspirational blessing in my life. Using memories, feelings, sights and sounds, I paint and create what was, is and will be. I take what to some seems ordinary, and seeing and feeling it as extraordinary via the process of painting and creating. My process is intuitive & expressionist, I am merely a conduit for the colors and creations.
